It hurts from sitting at my desk all day, I ask for new accommodation or just deal with it?
Okay, so I 've noticed the last two weeks that my chair at work is SOOO uncomfy. is good for a year (probably I am in it for at least 9 hours a day, I work 10 hours a day), but the last two weeks I noticed my back pain gets quite lunchtime and my back starts to hurt shortly after. I'm pretty sure that this is due to my being pregnant (just come in 2nd quarter), so I'm not sure if I should ask for a new president or just try for another 6 months? Besides, I'm one of the few who do not have a desk raised – with the option to walk to work. half the office has raised their desks and new, higher chairs. I wonder if I should go that way? What do you think? deal with what I have? or … only a new president? or … a new chair and a desk raised to boot? (a little worried about getting in and out of the highest chair when I grow up, do you think will be a problem?)
Pregnancy is probably more than the President, had the same problem. You can apply for a new chair, but can not make any difference. You can also try a mattress, even if the seat is padded. I not recommend a desk and chair raised high, then you will not want to stand up for the job and the highest chair can be difficult and dangerous for you enter and exit. I suggest you put up and deal with a comfortable cushion in the chair. If possible, get up and stretch or walk around occasionally.
