Problem with Allen head screws Office Max office computer chair?
I bought a mesh chair behind Office Max last night. However, the mounting the back of the chair to the chair through the arm rest bar, both of Allen head screws, which came in the opening upper back chair got stuck in about 3/4ths (which was difficult to get the screws anyway) as I finished and stripped the head to try to get that going far. The president is confident and really do not feel like that unassembling pulling back on the table and driving back to Office Max.
Allen screws are tightened so it is likely to pull the threaded / plate that you used were in their own 'Allen keys? It sometimes provide specific keys for screws, and may be "Torx" that look like Allen, but are different just enough (more in a star) to give the 'feel' to be well established, but in reality not only what had happened to get out and pull slots the "star". Go through the packaging material and verify all clear. self-tapping bolts may have to be used to clean the holes if the threads are destroyed.
